An 8 mile walk starting from Kimpton, to the West of Welwyn. Part of this walk briefly overlapped with the
Ayot St. Peter walk as we went through Ayot St. Lawrence. It was nice to see how things have changed, and different
paths used mean a different angle on the new church too. It was a slow frustrating start as it was very busy in
Kimpton due to an event, and the pub stop at Codicote was a long one. It took over an hour for a rather poor quality
fish and chips to arrive. Not good. The walk as a whole was rather pleasant and pictoresque. A nice day out. This was
also the biggest walk I have been on, with atleast 26 walkers and two dogs.

A curious street name. Who would want to live there?

One of the non-human JWalkers shooting past me. Low light levels made for an interesting motion blur effect.

The woodland path continues, flanked by trees and bluebells.
